My Fashion Crate Review

The owners of My Fashion crate reaches out to me to share their December box with all of you! I love a good subscription service so I was so excited to try it out!

My Fashion Crate sent me the premium box which is filled with 5-8 items valued at over $200! The premium box costs $49.95 a month or they do have smaller boxes available as well. They send a mix of clothes, accessories and beauty products every month.

My package arrived in a cute sparkly pouch jammed packed with my items.

What a great mix of products! My favorite by far is the holiday bow blouse from The Clothing Company. It is just my style and it looks perfect on! I can’t wait to wear this one with some black jeans and head out for date night! Seriously, it is so cute and great quality!

Here are some of the other items that I received. All of which are great quality and in style.

Cold Shoulder Cable Knit Sweater
White Pom Beret
Olive Green Fleece Lined Leggings

Rose Gold Necklace

Mini Facial Masks

Overall, the box has some great items inside that I will definitely use. The cost of all the items greatly exceeds the cost of the box so it’s a great deal. If you love recieving a box of surprises (since you don’t get to pick items, just your size) at your door this could be a service for you! Check them out!

Fancy FRIYAY!!

It’s FANCY FRIYAY!!! Slowly recovering from my holiday hangover and starting to put away all the decorations. Although it’s sad every year to put it all away, I definitely enjoy getting rid of some clutter! Considering my house looks like a toy store threw up all over I can use any help with clutter I can get before I start to go crazy! Not that you could ever go crazy with that cute photobomber smiling at you. 😉
Teddy coats are still everywhere and I’m def on board with this trend! Soft, cozy and cute? Sign me up! I paired mine ($36!) with distressed black jeans and this amazing cami that is only $17!!!! I am wearing a medium coat and small tank. 👌🏼

Still shopping…

Sending my big kids to their grandparents for a sleepover tonight because we have not wrapped one single thing yet. 😬 Actually we still have shopping to do. Procrastination at its finest! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Please tell me we aren’t the only ones!!!!
Found this amazingly soft Madewell cardigan ON SALE! It comes in three colors and is under $50. And don’t get me started on these high waisted black skinny jeans. They are supposed to lift your tush and who doesn’t need a little help back there! 😉

Holiday Dining Room

We are hosting Christmas at our new house this year! First time in a long time that we don’t have to drive 8 hours to see family. 👏🏼 It’s good to be home for the holidays. ❤️ (Don’t ask me if I feel the same way in February – pretty sure I will be regretting our decision to move back north by then 🥶)

My dining room has transformed for the holidays and I am absolutely loving all the details. Snowflake plates, buffalo check napkins, farmhouse lanterns….they are all my favorites! Check it out!

Best Cuff Bracelet

Bracelet // Jeans // Booties

Anyone else have wrists the size of a small child? Anyone? I have such a hard time finding cute bracelets that actually fit me and don’t look completely ridiculous. I’m pretty sure my six year old son has bigger wrists than I do. #petitegirlproblems 🙄
I found this amazing cuff bracelet that can be adjusted to fit perfectly! I love the multiple bangle look and it is the perfect amount of gold to go with any outfit! The best part – it’s on sale for under $12!!! That’s 60% off right now. No code needed!

Plaid and Ruffles? Yes, please!!

I am basically a pop star today. Jessica Simpson shirt and Fergalicious shoes. That’s about as close as I’m ever going to get because I am a TERRIBLE singer. Like, my three year old daughter won’t even let me sing because I am that bad. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️
This button down top from Jessica Simpson is the cutest! I love the ruffle detail and it comes in 4 color choices. It’s on sale for over 50% right now! I am wearing a small and it fits perfect. 👌🏼 These gray jeans are also on sale and my booties are the absolute best. If you are looking for great booties with a heel check these Fergie ones out!

Decorating My “Formal” Living Room

I’ve been working on our “formal” living room since we moved in 6 months ago. And by working, I actually mean staring at an empty room. It was my least favorite room of our house at first and started to be an extension of our toy room (meaning that it was a dumping ground for ALL the toys 😬). I finally decided to purchase items for the room and I am LOVING how it is turning out! We didn’t want it too formal considering we have three young children but we did want a space that was clean and cozy for us to enjoy! All of my items I chose were on sale and reasonably priced so it didn’t cost a fortune to update the room. Definite win there! Here are some of my faves of the room:

Chair // Pillow // Throw Blanket

This wingback chair with the nail head trim is my FAVORITE purchase! I got it on sale for more than 60% the originally price of $699! It is comfy and gorgeous, I was shocked at the quality of this chair considering the price I paid. These gold accent pillows from Target are another one of my faves. Adds just a little sparkle to the room. Shocker- the throw blanket is from Target as well.

Vase // Evergreen Fillers

It’s no secret that Joanna Gaines is my hero. I could seriously buy her whole line of items at Target. Here I have the gold splattered “green” (they call it green, I would call it more “spa” blue color) vase. I added evergreen fillers, also from the Hearth & Home line at Target. So pretty for winter!

Marble Coaster

I received these marble and brass monogram coasters as a gift and I absolutely love them. Marble and brass are so trendy these days which is perfect for our house because it was built during the prime of the marble and brass days in the 90’s!

So there it is – a peek inside our new formal living room. Links to the other items pictured are below:

Gold Sunburst

Glass Lantern (Large)

So thankful!!

3,000 followers. Wow. I can’t believe it. It’s been almost three months now since I started this crazy blogging journey and I am thankful for each and every follower I have gained. Some of them have turned into great friends who have supported me through this insane world. And although my hubs wasn’t completely sure what I was talking about or doing in the beginning, he has now become my biggest supporter and I can’t thank him enough. (Although he said he didn’t sign any waiver for me to post his picture and was going to sue me. He was kidding, I think. 🙄🤣🤦🏻‍♀️) He now understands the phrase “do it for the gram” and is even agreeing to taking my picture from time to time. 👌🏼 I’m so thankful for him and all of you that have read this up to this point. Y’all (sprinkling some southern flavor up here in the north) are the absolute best!! 😘 Stay tuned to my blog post in a few days on my three month blogiversary on what I have learned so far on my Instagram journey. It will be a good one!

My First Puff Hat!

Happy Saturday friends!! Bought my first winter toboggan puff ball hat. I figured since everyone else is wearing them then I should be too. My head is insanely small and I hate wearing hats but I am in love with this one! It’s only $15 and comes in tons of colors! Also, if you have bought these jeans yet you really need to. I wear them every day. 🙌🏼
